the net.

Many of these scam work at home business offers look genuine.

A good example is Adclickxpress.is

After defrauding hundreds of thousands of people online of millions of dollars, the name of the website which was originally Justbeenpaid.com was changed to Profitclicking.com under the pretext that the original owner was planning to retire and another executive member was taking over.

When the scam report of the company was becoming high online, the same company went under the radar and changed its name to Adclickxpress.is

All the three domain names are redirected to the same Url Adclickxpress.is

Any innocent person who does not know about the past of this company would still fall a victim since it looks totally genuine. You can read more of the customers reviews by those who have been scammed at http://www.apexhomebusiness.com/reviewopedia-profitclicking

Another scam site that must have duped thousands of people online is Mycheapjobs.com which is now redirected to Dojobsonline.com

The site looks so real until you make a payment. Once a payment is made, all communication cease. I
know person who paid to this scam site for a project and never heard anything to date after the payment despite various complaints to the support of the site.

Work at home scams take many forms. Most of the companies would lure their victims to make payments that can never be recovered, some do not guarantee regular income for the home based workers.

They do not mention clearly how many hours you would need to work before you start earning your fist pay. Some others require you to to sign up to their membership sites and make regular recurring monthly membership payments before you can earn. Some would want you to spend money on instructions before getting the job promised. Some companies require paid training. Therefore work at home scams cost victims thousands of dollars and also valuable time.

In order to avoid being a victim of work at home scammers, you need to investigate every company before making any payment for any offer or accepting any job online. In fact legitimate companies provide all the information in writing. Here are some tips to avoid work at home scams:

  1. If you need to provide personal information, avoid giving it to an unknown person or company. Provide personal information only to the company that you confirm is legitimate.
  2. You can check the company by typing the name of the company in the search box of Better business Bureau. If there is any complaint about that company, avoid contact with it.
  3. You can equally check the company by typing the name of the company in the search box of Google.com and check as many results as possible to confirm if there is any complaint about the company in the results.
  4. You can also go to major internet marketing forums or question and answer sites and ask questions about a company.
  5. There is no easy road to wealth. Any job requires some effort to earn better income. Therefore beware of companies that promise to make you rich overnight, there is no such thing anywhere.  They are all
    scams.

Reshipping fraud is becoming a common work at home scam. This type of job, the home based worker needs to receive, repack and then mail the merchandise to a foreign address. They are promised a
substantial amount of money. But the worker may not know that the merchandise was paid for with stolen credit cards.

The home based worker would therefore become a part of receiving and mailing of stolen goods without their knowledge. The worker receives the merchandise, repackages with their own funds and told it will
be repaid at time of pay day, it gets worst!

They are then told, their pay will be via cashier’s check, but oddly it’s for more then owed. The worker is told to deposit the check and send the difference to the employer’s overseas bank account. Eventually,
the cashier’s check bounces and owe their bank the amount of the whole check.

If you want to select a legitimate work at home business or job, then do not accept any offer that promises to provide an outrageous income for for a home business instantly or a part time job that promises to pay exorbitantly. Some companies would promise you get rich quick schemes. All the online get rich schemes are scams. Remember only hard work and dedication can help you earn a good income from home.

If you are asked to pay for start up kits, then do not send money to such companies. Legitimate companies do not charge anything to hire you. If you are not sure about the legitimacy of a company, then ask for references.

If the company is not willing to provide references, then beware!
